Hi,Not sure if this shows one of the claws on the belly, and also some die chips on the face. The front and back claw area doesn't seem right. Any feedback is appreciated.

These are most likely die chips. The dies that strike the modern planchets are used as much as the RCM can get out of them...

w/SPP-Ottawa Die chips are very common on these. Good eye!

I just looked at quite a few Canadian 2006 5c coins on ebay and the majority seem to have these same markings, incl a Proof-Like.

Seems to me there's really nothing unusual about them.
