I have Series 2009A $100 Star Notes Lot of 100 consecutively numbered and uncirculated.

Am trying to determine if I should continue to hold on to them.

I cannot seem to find anything online which indicates any increase in value.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a site with the print runs: http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2009ah.html

Low print runs can caery a premium.

Assuming you don't want to keep them, find a paper money dealer and see what kind of offer you get.

Star packs have a premium.

The premium typically increases with the denomination. In other words, $1 Star pack average selling price $150, $2 Star pack $300-$400, $5 Star pack $650-$750, $10 Star pack $1350-$1500 and so on. A Star pack with exceptionally low or fancy serial numbers will do even better. I currently have the $1, $2, and $5, and just recently won a $10 Star pack, but haven't received it yet.

Sounds like a lot of money to tie up.

I've tied up more than that on a single note, or coin.

There is a very, very thin market for packs of 100$ notes. For most collectors it is too much money to tie up.

I meant a lot of money to tie up in 100 notes that aren't that scarce. To sell them individually would take forever, and not being graded, the premium would be small - not to mention the time and effort. And most certainly the market must be thin for packs of this nature, I agree.

I agree Frog/Sky on $100 Star note pack, and maybe even the $50 pack also, but smaller denomination star packs are just plain cool. Maybe not a great investment, but really neat to hold and look at.
