The faint mintmark almost looks like an "S" to these tired old eyes. I think it's a poorly struck, or damaged, 1923-S.

I see nothing that tells me it's a 1922 anything .

That's what I thought at first also westernsky. I took a 2nd,3rd,4th& 5th look and turning the coin I can clearly see the D and the 2. If I turn it some more I begin to see a 1,2,3,& a 4. My tired eyes are now looking at each other.LOL!

1923S, residual of last digit is too long top to bottom, and the MM residual is square, not D but S.

The 1922-D cents were known for over polishing.

I see 1920. The last digit doesn't seem high enough to be 3. Any mintmark to me is just forcing my imagination.
