Picked this up for $282. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

Looks mint state, with no wear that I can see. Based on the lack of significant contact marks I'd guess it could grade as high as MS-63 if luster is strong. Can't judge luster based on these images; does it "cartwheel" in hand?
Dark streaks and field hairlines on the obverse are a negative and would likely reduce the potential grade.

Not a fan of the black streaks on both sides especially the obverse. Looks like obverse was wiped around 9-10 o clock. This may be a good candidate for acetone bath and perhaps a quick dip.

AU Details Cleaned

The rim above states on reverse look strange almost like there is heavey wear or hit.
Rest in Peace

I don't see much of anything for high point circulation rub. But the open center of the obverse fields are disturbed, so it's 58 based on those inconsistencies.

I've gotten to the point that eye appeal often means more to me than technical grade. With the streaks on the obverse I myself wouldn't buy this coin, even at a cheap price.

AU-58. Poor eye appeal because of the obverse streaks and dot-shaped mark on Liberty's head.

This one will get an acetone bath to remove surface matter. I think I will also try verdicare on the obverse as that seems to have worked for others in removing oxidation and/or like surface accumulation. Coin will never be dipped while I own it.

For that cost I'd want it slabbed.
That lets me know it's authentic AND original.

Looks dipped in the second set of pics. That streak will probably not come off. A details coin IMO. Otherwise, it would already be in plastic.

It appears someone tried to remove/clean off some stains in the fields and her legs and they quite when they realized it was not working. I would be surprised if the acetone removes the stains.
