thanks t360 and Spence ! for 1621 I squeeze in (a bit late) two jetons from Antwerp, both praising the leadership of the Archdukes Albert and Isabella in the Spanish Netherlands; the image of man taming the wild horse is quite sophisticated   for 1620, here is another Nederlandse Rijksdaalder from Zeeland, like the example posted by Petrus.  |

And maybe for today the Low Countries will surpass Poland! Nice jetons and rijksdaalders. Unfortunately my Albert & Isabella patagon is the undated type.

Mine is dated, but the date is in a damaged part of the coin, and is difficult to read. Enlarged photo of the date area is below. The first two digits 1 6 are to the left of the small cross above the crown, though the 1 is obliterated by the damage. The last two digits are to the right of the small cross. Known dates for Antwerp mint are 1612, 1616-21. The third digit is clearly a 1, and I am thinking this is probably a 1618. For reference on how the 6 and 8 are normally formed on this coin, here is a 1618. https://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotv...cbbcfc4158da . The 9 normally has a long tail toward 7:00, so I do not think 1619 is a possibility. Grateful for ideas from anyone else. I will post full photos on the consensus date.  Edited by tdziemia
