What do you Walker collectors think. Walkers are not my strong suit so give me your best guess.

I collect Walkers, so I'll give it a try...

The pics are somewhat small, but I'd say MS-60.

SHAFTA9a,
Thanks,
Sorry for the small pics. They are the sellers pics and trying to enlarge them would distort the coin. I did pick this one up and wanted to see if it is close to the grade the seller estimated.

It looks mint state and the fields are pretty much mark-free. Therefore, it has the potential of going as high as MS-65 or MS-66. However, it could also be an AU-58 coin with slight rub on Liberty's breast and/or the eagle's breast and leg. It may also have been cleaned. The photos just don't tell the complete story.

So, the possible range IMO is a minimum "AU-58 details, cleaned" up to MS-66. I guess that doesn't really narrow it down very much!

I was also thinking AU because of the rub on the obverse but it could also be my eyes playing a trick on me due to the picture.

We need larger photos, I am in agreement on that. It looks AU 58 to me -- I suspect with larger photos, there will be some rub on the obverse. Reverse looks clean. If what appears to be rub is not wear (maybe call it camera wear), then this looks MS65 to me. Head is not perfect but there's a split left hand. Skirt lines are hard to make out but appear solid. Fields look pretty clean.

I think I see some rub on the cap/head in the pic. They are small and they do seem to represent a higher grade MS-64 or 65 coin that I fear will be AU-55 to 58 when it gets home. AU-MS can be tough to determine from pics , and if they want it to be tougher- they can make it tougher. Just a tiny bit blurry...or a bit to small of a pic, can really make a difference. Nice looking coin for the right price, I hope that's what it turns out you paid .
