The product page doesn't list any limits, and if they haven't made it public by now, I doubt there will be any limits. It's difficult to guess how this one will perform, but for some reason I feel like this one will sell well south of the 500k range.

the 2017-S was cool in that it was extremely limited, which makes it more collectible, imho, but it unfortunately was issued in two different sets that i'm not interested in having. so instead I bought two slabbed, a 69 & a 70. creating another proof ASE doesn't excite me, particularly if they're making lots of them and every year. the proof coins don't really excite me, but the burnished (uncirculated) coins do, mostly because they don't make as many. i'm not excited about the prospect of now having to buy another proof ASE each year. if they're gonna do that they should hammer out some reverse proofs or enhanced uncirculateds instead. sorry, but having a different mintmark isn't an exciting incentive, unless the mintmark is a letter we don't typically see, you know?

Well, they've got me on whatever ASE they make. I have the "problem" of having a complete set. :) I'm betting that significantly fewer of the 2018-S proofs sell than 2018-W proofs simply because many collectors only buy one proof per year.

Has there been any announcement or indication that these will be yearly?

I got my order in right when it changed from remind to add. Order number was USM0595691X. I'm thinking that I was first. Perhaps I can get a First of the First Issues slab?

I'm thinking of holding off til Thursday and getting one when the Pres medals come out. That way only pay for shipping once.

Ordered one, and yes, they added it to annual enrollments, so I guess there will be 2 ASE proofs, W & S from now on... I wish I could have gotten last years in the Congrats set that sold out instantly to break out... I'm not crazy about breaking up a limited special set... oh well.

I actually purchased the OGP from a 2017-W proof ASE so that I can put a 2017-S proof ASE in it. All of my proof ASE's are in OGP boxes (except for 1995-W), so it seems odd having that one in folder.

dunno how wild I am about an additional proof ASE each year with nothing really special about the coin other than a different mintmark. what i'm wondering is why they're doing it.
