Can anyone shed some light on this Bradman 20cent piece I have and why there would be an upside down two on the queens neck?

Random counterstamp, unknowable reason. Some are aftermarket tracking #, others just a personal mark... Not mint issued.

I agree also ... a while ago I found this one that was stamped on both sides!
I kept it just out of interest.

The usual explanation for random letters and numbers being punched onto coins is something like this:

Somebody who has just bought one of these letter-punch sets for their home workshop, decided to test it out using a random piece of metal they had lying around. That "random piece of metal" happened to be a coin.

Yep,vending machine operators did mark Coins, usually $1 after 1984,20c before then.We had a 24 Hr. Truck Stop with about a dozen machines and the repair guys used to use marked Coins to test after repairs and also to leave with us for the Staff to use during breaks to act as Burley. They were removed at the end of every Month when Coins were counted.
