This AR 1/12 Thaler of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel is dated 1775 IDB and features the usual leaping horse motif. The obverse has some damage (graffiti/scratches) but the reverse is mostly intact. This is a scarcer date in the series (which ran for over 25 years) and for less than $3 it earns a spot in my German States binder. I wonder if the German folks knew that within 5 years of this coin being struck, the entire world would be shaken up by some rebellious colonists...
