1893 Columbian Exposition Admission Ticket - Benjamin Franklin Although this isn't paper money, I put it with currency collection for now and it isn't mint, it is the second more valuable of 6 subjects found on this style admission ticket. The Handel ticket is by far the most expensive. There are also an Indian in full headdress, Christopher Columbus, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Aside from those commonly collected to add to a set, are a Chicago Day, a Manhattan Day, A children's special ticket and a Good only on Day of Sale. A set of 10 tickets makes for a very nice collection. I might just settle on having this one and if I do sell it someday, I have an extra US Columbian Half Dollar to put them together in a lot.

Nice... if you are going to do the full set, you need the Isabella Quarter too. An 1897 Old Head Victoria Shilling. Just the slightest of friction marks on the cheek. Probably an AU-58 or so. Full reverse luster with nice gold toning. I am a real sucker for the Victoria Old/Veiled Head design.   Paul Bulgerin

More German goodies! AR (15)8Z 2 Kreuzer of Pfalz-Veldenz   AR 1716-H AH 1/24 Thaler of Goslar   AR 1765-EDC 2/3 Thaler of Saxony (Albertine)   BL 1790 Kreuzer of Löwenstein-Wertheim. Ancients fans might recognize the obverse as Fortuna standing with a rudder and cornucopia...   AR 1842 1/6 Thaler of Hesse-Cassel   I also picked up a 1703 4 Kreuzer (Württemberg), a 1751-CLR Kreuzer (Brandenburg-Bayreuth), a 1768-HW 10 Kreuzer (Baden), a 1773-BN Kreuzer (Frankfurt), and an 1822 Kreuzer (Hesse-Cassel) but the seller photos for those coins were really bad so I will post them once I take pictures myself.
