This is a little on the kitschy side of things, but it knocked off an issuing authority off my to get list. Palau 2015 5 dollars. The die and game pieces do come with the coin.   |

I've decided to so something with US half-dollars, but I like them all, so I bought this on ebay the other day. Just like the "good-ol'" days. It is an old unused Meghrig blank folder. I'll show relevant coins and holds filled as they come my way. :) For this collection I have no interest in slabs, I like coins one can touch, and pop out for others to hold a piece of American history. What fun is it for a newbie or a young collector to hold a slabbed coin, enshrined in plastic, being told one cannot really "touch" the coin. I was inspired by a poster here who collects circulated commemorative halves. Besides, on the earlies, all I can afford, if I want to add a coin more frequently than one per 6 months or so, are circulated, likely very circulated examples. But that's just me. AU... unusual contact marks - almost as if small plastic pieces has been dragged across part of the surface and dropped repeatedly on the field.
