Nice clean seated liberty Hokiefan. Is that a die clash I see coming off the eagles right leg to his talon?

Good eye, eaglebub7, I think you're correct about that. I'd noticed under magnification several very tiny die cracks around the legends on the reverse, but I didn't take note of the possible die clash.

When I did a quick flipped overlay, what you noted aligns nicely with Liberty's upraised arm. I also notice a hint of Liberty's other arm between the left talon and the leaves on the olive branch, between the leaves and the eagle's left wing, and then between the left wing and the edge of the banner.

Lastly, I see a bit of evidence of a clash just above the banner with "In God We Trust".

friends, my last post detailed my acquisitions from july 12 this year.. as previously mentioned, my next acquisitions came nine days later, july 21st.. the coin bug dictated that I acquire these.

i nabbed the nicest, oldest Washington quarter I could get at that moment:

and I also nabbed a nice 09 VDB (for the 7070) & a 'hole-filler' 14-D (for the LWC folder):

the long, hot summer of coins continued into august. the coin bug wasn't yet satisfied. these coins came to me august 8th:

1798 large cent, new addition to the 7070

1812 capped bust half w/rotated die, replaced my 1823 ugly 3 variety in the 7070

another new addition to the 7070, 1853 Half Dime

also nabbed a 54-S LWC proof for the folder

....and we come to this, a 2022 austrian silver philharmonic.

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions
Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

july, august & september turned out to be really good months for finding & saving street money. august averaged just under $2/day and september averaged just over $2/day, tho I don't immediately recall july's totals. anyway, as july was taking off I noticed the uptick in my nightly finds. I quickly had enough for something silver. I didn't want any silver eagles, so I opted for a philharmonic, my first.

it also occurred to me that with that acquisition I now had 12 oz of silver chalked-up to street finds. I was only 4 oz from a full pound. so I set my sights on finding & saving up my street finds with the intention of turning the next batches of money into 4 more oz of silver, so that I would achieve a full pound. I explained this to the coin bug and he seemed to understand the plan: no more acquisitions until we're ready for 4 oz silver. the coin bug was satisfied (for now). I started examining other silver ounces from around the world, thinking ahead.

...more to come...

friends, by the time the autumnal equinox rolled around I was sitting on a tidy pile of street finds, accumulated since roughly july 4.. as previously mentioned, july, august & september-- essentially all of cycle 21-- were really good months for street finds, and my aim was to convert that $ into silver ounces from around the world. so that's what I did.

stuff arrived october 12, after a 1-week delay in shipping. all coins are new.. dated 2022.

silver krugerrand, south africa

silver panda, China

......and I couldn't resist just one acquisition to go along with all that silver, so I nabbed an 1858 Flying Eagle cent for the 7070.. street money did not pay for that; I did

coin bug continued biting me well into fall.. I staved it off until this purchase, but it resumed chewing on me rather quickly..

more to come

friends, I sustained 1st & 2nd degree coin bug bites all over me throughout November.. I fought it for a while, but eventually gave in to the bug and nabbed these three Morgan dollars, they arrived the same day I bought my new iphone, November 28...

1883-O

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

1885-S, with nice golden toning on the reverse

1889-O, with very light rainbow toning on the obverse & a muted gold/rose color on the reverse

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

i scored those on November 17. while I awaited their arrival, Thanksgiving came & went, and I made another score on Black Friday.. took advantage of some sales and nabbed three items:

1 gram of gold, 1 gram of platinum and an 1865 Three Cent Nickel, for the 7070

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

street finds paid for the two grams, I technically need to find another $7.01 to pay them off in full, almost there... I bought the Three Cent myself, and I'm going to have to post that coin in another thread cos there are things to talk about...

i have posted all my acquisitions since last summer, I have caught up & I am now current.

coin bug crunched on me pretty hard several days ago, i'll have a couple new things to share here this coming week.. there's a pkg waiting for me at the post office...
