Ok getting back on track - my newest arrival today
1913 Type 2 Buffalo nickel.
This one came with a bonus - a nice die clash on the obverse in front of the nose and under the chin - and possibly on the reverse around EPU, but not sure on that one..

A little ragged on the edges of the clip also like it was manufactured.

@Dearborn: another fantastic Buffalo! Liking the clash as well.

Thanks Earl - the more I look at it, the more clash I see. (on the reverse the neck line through EPU, and that big block in the corner of the chin/neck area (I'm guessing that ,that is from the blank area under Pluribus and left of unum.

I hope it's real but I would think the cut edge would be flatter due to the strike? Seems thick and there is no blurring on the lettering. But then you have to Believe.

Interesting new additions!

@Dearborn, I guess that's pretty normal. I know it is for me when I happen to notice clash marks on a coin I own! I see the "obvious" marks first, then hone in on the more subtle clash marks as I study it further...

My latest acquisitions - four Conder tokens;

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions
I really like this one as I am starting a Conder collection of various churches, cathedrals, castles and other interesting large buildings on the tokens.

My favorite Conder token I've purchased so far, this is by coin dealer Peter Skidmore and shows St. Paul's Church before and after destruction from fire. It's also a nice uncirculated token with hints of original luster and some color. All of the Skidmore tokens make an impressive collection in their own right.

I got this one as it features one of my heroes, and argubly one of the greatest minds of all time, Sir Issac Newton. Almost everything he discovered or proved is still standing correct hundreds of years later. Beyond the laws of Gravity, he proved most all of the optical and color laws still used today in engineering, astronomy, photography, etc. and of course was the father of calculus. Later in his life he was the Warden then Master of The Royal Mint in England.

This was just an inexpensive token, yet has an interesting old and long gone medieval castle which fits right into my buildings and structures collection.
