I Need Help With A 1978 D Roosevelt Dime Error

Josiejo29 New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 11/14/2018 02:42 am Hello. I have a 197? Roosevelt dime. The date appears to be 1978, but once up close to the date you can clearly see that, that isn't an 8. At one angle it likes a 5 over 2. Perhaps the part of the die that created the fourth digit in the date was also slightly damaged prior to striking this coin. Otherwise, this is plain damage to the coin. The striations running from the rim to the bust tells that. I would like to see close up pics of the rest of the devises. Report this Post to the Staff
