Hope that bottle hadn't been opened...

the rule is that I bring home unopened bottles only. this particular bottle was found at the roadside, indicating that maybe a bicycle or moped lost it. a quick look at the cap tells me whether it has been opened or not. when I get home I rinse off the bottle and leave it in the dish drainer where it dries overnight. that'll be the next morning's tasty coffee.

for only the second time so far this month I picked more than a dollar in well-scattered change, nabbing $1.21 tonight... fifty-seven cents from a publix coinstar machine and another sixty-four cents along the kitty route. two interesting finds from the coinstar:

i picked a well-scattered $1.16 in change tonight ($1+ for the second consecutive night and third time this month), plus I scored an unopened bottle of water (second bottle this month). I had seventy-seven cents in my pocket as I rolled for home. along the way I cruised up to an air machine and found a tidy pile of thirty-nine cents in grubby nickels and zincolns. they got a serious degreaser bath when I returned to my grotto.
