Would be fun to view a map of the US (lower 48) showing where 'money' is found--a running tally. Of course this would be next to impossible (too many variables), but it would be fun to see the geographic distribution of finds. More money found in Cass County North Dakota vs. Iron County Utah? And the per capita amount in Seattle vs Orlando?
One can dream!

Man!! I am jealous! Those are nice finds.
My best one in 2 months was yesterday and that was 23 cents. :(

I found a "golden" token at the gas station that's good for 5 minutes at their vacuuming station. Does that count. By my estimation it's MS65, but probably won't slab it.

Quote: My best one in 2 months was yesterday and that was 23 cents. the night before last I found just a quarter and two roadkill zincolns. not every night is a windfall, sadly, but it all adds up. I am determined to complete cycle 18. I want the streets to provide me with a(nother) gold coin. Quote: a map of the US (lower 48) showing where 'money' is yes, an app for iphone would be great. I wouldn't slab it, either. spend it before it loses all value. you've been blessed by the air-vac gods. I'm still waiting for that elusive pouch of benjamins... can't figure out why it's taking so long...

i picked just eighty-three cents tonight, all well-scattered change, but the very last coin that I found was a coin i'd never seen before, so here's another first. I nabbed pix of it as I stood there in the parking lot at just after 2am: 2012 canadian dollar, eh? just now looking it up; this is a loonie? this would be my first loonie. picked from the key west winn-dixie parking lot. i'll get better pix... the maple leaf can't be seen in this one.
