Die wear on the back of the coat on the obverse, lamination on the reverse.

A peeling lamination that is folded over on the lam that is still attached. Very nice coin. But the lamination might be a distraction for the value on this coin. Someone who wants a nice coin might pass because of the lamination. An error collector might be interested in it, but the probably not willing to pay for a nicer coin. Could go either way or neither way. Having two events don't always work out for both camps.

It follows the "grain" of the rolling marks - this is a nice small retained lamination.

I would say without much reservation it is a lamination. you can see evidence into the wheat. If some form of damage how can you explain the outline in the wheat ear ?
