This one has been body bagged under Q color, but I see nothing really attractive about the color nor do I see issues under the color. The coin is a solid PL and my only issue is if the coin is dipped there could be a difference in reflectivity or luster after the fact and that would make this a problem coin.

With a PL as attractive as this one happens to be, get it slabbed (for protection as well as grading), so that disputes are less likely to arise, should you need to sell it.
As least, put it in an airtite hard capsule. I think airtite capsules better, because slabs are not necessarily airtite.
Whatever you do, don't dip it! Other potential owners would prefer to have it slabbed, A TPGrader will pick it immediately, and may not even bother to grade it. It would most probably get a 'Details: dipped', if it was graded.
I definitely agree that further toning needs to be stopped immediately. It has already lost all chance of acquiring a nice color toning. Further toning in decades or less from now will result in an even dull gray patina. Some collectors prefer this, but I don't.

A dip should help the coin getting off the AT. If you can see through the toning, it should come off without leaving a trace. There is always a risk in dipping, but you already have a problem coin, so not much downside.
On the obverse there are some milk spots, so the coin may of already been dipped and what is left may not come off.

You really should not dip that coin at all, it would absolutely ruin it in my opinion

If it's been body bagged already a little dip cant hurt. I mean a dip not a soak. 4 seconds at most.

I agree with a quick dip. Will probably remove the AT without messing up the surfaces too much.

I agree, if it's been bagged, give it a quick dip and rinse. What's to lose?

Don't know that a dip will work on this Morgan.

I'd try a 50/50/5 first: 50% dip, 50% water, 5 seconds, then rinse with distilled water and acetone.

Personally I would give it a quick dip. But I've dipped coins and under the toning were some hidden hits. Post pics if you do.

If it were me, I would first see if acetone soak for a few minutes does anything. I doubt it, but worth a shot. If no luck then I would dip it quickly (less than 1 sec) , and immediately put in a distilled water rinse.

I would try a quick dip in acetone first, to get the grunge off. Then a quick 50/50 dip.

Since it's already a details coin, I think there's more upside than downside, and I would agree with a quick, dilute dip to remove the problem toning. It looks like a nice coin underneath.
