Because the number 666 is devil's number in Christian community. Is it right? That's why people don't like number such as 666 6666 66666 666666 6666666. Am I superstitious ?

These are very bad, but if you have one, do not attempt to destroy it yourself. Send it to me and rid yourself of the curse.

I wonder what people would think if the value was $666.00 or $666,000.00 or, well you get it.

If it bothers you, then do not collect them. Not everyone, even Christians, feel the same way about the number.

Actually if the number 6666666 is on the Devil's face notes, the notes may have a premium.

It is just a coincidence, not a "devil" note. It is just the bill numbered after 665 and before 667.

Probably numbers do not reduce the value , but the other way , you can have an increase in value with some numbers like 8 , for Chinese poeple 8 is a lucky number, than more persons want solid 8.

Just turn it upside down... then think of it as Wayne Gretzky's money...

You mean like this?

But back to the OP:
I don't think most collectors care what number it is- except the solid 8 do go for a little more (as "Regent" has posted)

I cannot (for the life of me) figure out why 9999999 (being the highest possible number) doesn't sell for a premium...(& no they don't make 10,000,000 notes anymore!)
