I did a lot of googling and the face looks like a 1888 20 Mark gold coin and the back looks like a gold sovereign.The place it was found in has been sealed since sometime between 1904 and 1914 at the latest but most likely between 1904-1908.

Don't know the weight but it's around 14mm in diameter

@M2999, first welcome to CCF. Second, this might be spiel marke. You mentioned that this piece was found in a place that had been sealed for roughly 100 years. What other items were in this same location? Was it found with a bunch of coins or a bunch of toys?

Probably spielgeld. They weren't strictly toys; they were also used in schoolhouses to teach arithmetic - nowadays they use little plastic tokens, but same concept.

It was found under the floorboards with a lot of dust bunnies but not much else
