@tman, for this coin, it would be best to show pics after removing the cent from the 2x2. Also, improved lighting, in-focus, cropped, and properly oriented pics would help. As this may be a pricey coin, we will want to take a nice close look at it and so your photography skills will need to step up a little. Thx and welcome to CCF!

Hello Tmangan85, It is a little blurry. Can you post another pic: Front and Back... plus a close up of the date area? (please rotate the pic too) Thanks

Aside from being cleaned, this coin's date and TRUST don't look right to my eye.

Comparing to pennies around the same years everything seems to look the same n as far as the cleaning not sure about that as I found it in pocket change and after inspection it went directly into a 2x2 swuare

Wasn't referring to the style of the digits or letters, but rather the characteristic fading and weakness seen in different areas of all genuine examples. This might be Die Pair #2, but not #1 or #3. Might also be a '22D with the D removed that was cleaned to obscure the alteration. Anyone else have an opinion?

..... to the Community! We look forward to your continued active participation. In regards to your pictured coin it has a few problems: 1). It looks like the area below the date (where the mint mark would be) has been worked on. I think the "D" mint mark has been removed. 2). The coin has been harshly cleaned to try and hide the tooling work. Bottom line? It just doesn't look right.

Nick the new guy here... I was thinking it might be pair #1 since it had that big ole die crack running over the "O". The 22 no "D" is on my wish list. Good luck Hunting

LIBERTY is much too strong for Die Pair #1. Take it to your LCS for an opinion first. I don't believe this coin is worth the cost of submitting.
