Tis has been a great coin search. Not only the major Cud, but I found this nice 1992D DD. To me it looks like an obverse and reverse double. The obverse is obvious, shows very nice in the pictures. The reverse is in the memorial, to me it looks like the columns are doubled.

Probably 250K of those from that die pair getting worse as the die is reaching retirement. Then multiply that times the number of die made, when they reach the 250K that they all will create. Thus no premium for this. It is not a die variety, but a common die event.

I just looked on Variety Vista, The show no doubled die obverse for all three mints for that year.
http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...0listing.htm
Coppercoins: have no obverse doubled dies listed for this year either except for a 'so called' DDO on the eye.
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=lds
They list it but it is not a doubled die
Wexler: List 2 for Philadelphia. One other one and the same as the coppercoins example, but he considers it a doubled die

Denver: He lists one die for the obverse.
