99.250 % sure its brass and worth a few cents.

The design looks like one of the fake examples.

I think the bear is a clue that it isn't authentic. Not sure tho.

It appears to be a worthless fake. Many of these exist. Probably made from brass. I think many were sold in souvenir shops in the 60s and 70s.

These novelty tokens are often sold in sets. Sadly, many a coin novice has paid $100-$200+ for one token at auction.

Well you overpaid but it wasn't enough to hurt you seriously. Fairly cheap tuition. Depending on what else was in the lot the tuition could be even less.
