yeah and I noticed that these nickels aged not very well... the strike is not solid and they becomes harder to find in EF+ condition..

Very nice looking key date! That sure is a tough spot to fill in the album.

I'd be happy with that coin. About six years ago I picked up a 1925 to fill that spot but mine's about an F-12 so not nearly as impressive as what you have.

The coin is a weak strike, that said, judging by the sharpness of the rim, cleanness of the fields, wear on the reverse leaf tips, and the lustre, I would have thought this coin should have graded EF-45.

Compare your obverse to this one: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1925-ICCS-G...-Cent-AU-55/

Your coin certainly looks better than this one: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1925-CANADA...223387938165

yeah I think it has been graded long time ago..I could send it for a re-grading... I think it should be EF-45 at least, because like you said, theses coins were known to be poor quality striking

If you plan to resubmit it, send it to NGC. If the Geo. V nickel below is any indication, your's will return as SP-70.

5-Cents-1925-Canada!

p.s. are you the ex-Montreal Canadiens Sergio Momesso?
