Quote:What, no Lincoln Cent Album? Just Carl, I am saving my Lincoln cents until this coming winter when I don't need to be outside. Quote: Great start. Most of us try to fill albums full time! Let's see some pictures. USSID18, In another 7 years, I can fill albums full time. Pictures will come later, My computer doesn't have a slot for my XD cards, and the reader I picked up doesn't work, as a matter of fact it erased all the pictures on the card. Good thing I had downloaded them onto my old computer before I tried the new reader. Quote: Were the circulated Jeff's mostly from circulation? Kopper Ken, Yes the circulated coins were almost all from circulation. Don't know if you saw any of my other posts but I have been collecting coins forever, and never spent my change, threw it all into a 5 gal jug and some bags, plus a lot of CRH and not cashing the rolls searched. It took me like 16 months to sort and inventory all that change. I ended up with over 5600 Jefferson from 1938 to date. Once I am finished filling albums I am going to keep all nickels through 1979, all other will be dumped back into the bank.

Oh Ya, I still haven't stopped Roll Searching, I have added a few more coins to the final inventory numbers I posted earlier, and have picked up some keys at the local coin shops. The never ending cycle of a coin junkie...

I have also been filling albums but have run into the issue of being on the west coast and mainly finding (D) mint coins in rolls. So my books reflect that. Logged on today with the hopes of posting D for P trades but looks like a need 250 posts to propose those trade. Looking forward to you uploading your photos.

Filling albums from circulation was the way we all got started...I remember my aunt Mae looking in her coin purse (remember those) and giving me the Mercury dimes she had...that was in the 1960's...great time for numismatists. KK

Impressive. I like the Ikes. A somewhat under appreciated series.

Do you have any friends that live in the eastern states that you could trust? I have friends in a few different eastern states, and every so often I'll send one of them some money to buy me a few rolls and ship them back to me. I had a some "P" mints from living in Minnesota, but a lot were acquired from my buddies in the eastern states.

@sagegirl unfortunately I do not I am on my own. I was thinking of taking a road trip just to buy rolls of coins. I have collected extra (d) sets to trade when I do find someone into collecting on the east coast.
