That sure doesn't look like it's been cleaned to me. Do you have a local dealer you can take it to for his opinion? I'd sure be inclined to resubmit it.

That's for sure. This drives me crazy. To me, it looks like the woody lines may have been misinterpreted as cleaning marks? But surely ANACS would not make that mistake.

These types of coins are perfect for cracking out and putting into my album. Nice eye appeal and an undeserved details grade unless the pictures aren't showing something obvious.

WOW! Looks like a early/mid die state obverse die coupled with a early die state reverse die.

Hard to tell from the picture, is the cheekbone slightly flat?

If not, I like this as a woody 65 RB all day long!!

Agreed, plus coin clubs in your area. If you resubmit it, get several in-hand opinions first.
