"I'm making some fun error/variety discoveries."

It dawned upon me that searchers such as yourself are perhaps
the pioneers in the discovery of new "OOPS" coins!

Thank you for your service...

Yes, a compliment...
Eager and younger eyes do the hard work They report their findings.
Older and experienced eyes can give you their opinions.
Do you see what I mean? You are doing the hobby a great service.

Are you kidding? It is as though you are speaking in a strange language.
I do not know most of the terms used by variety collectors.
I cannot respond to you about your "finds."
But I DO respond to them as to their significance to the hobby.
Be they important or be they not, YOU reported them!
That makes you a....CONTRIBUTOR to the hobby...
(GOOD WORK!)

@mv, is there a corresponding flat spot on the rev of the '65 with the odd dimple? I don't see any smushed up metal on the obv.

Hi spence, was that meant to be directed at me or Matthew? I assume me. The reverse of the '65 shows no signs of damage opposite the dimple.

Seeing the reverse will probably confirm a raised area on the opposite side of the coin. It may look like this.
Finds-From-My-First-$500-Bank-Box-Quarters
If it does look like a push out on the reverse, then it is PSD on the 1965 Quarter.
Best to keep each thread to one coin. When people search the topics for a certain thread by date, it will not show up. So if you would like an exact comment about each coin, keep them to just one coin. You will get the full answer. A few of your coins have die chips.

Hey coop, the reverse of the coin is posted in the other thread you commented on. There's nothing on the other side, which is why I didn't re-post in this thread.

I wasn't really asking for information in this thread, since I already posted a thread about the coins I didn't know yesterday. This post was just meant to show off my finds from this particular search, which is why I posted all the coins.

So it nothing is showing on the opposite area, it might be a struck through something?

That's what I'm hoping, coop! I'm pretty new to this, so I haven't come across any strike throughs to compare it to yet.
