I guys I just got my first set from the US mint and a penny was included as a gift. I take a look closely and o found the penny to have two brown spot. Should I send it back and ask for a replacement.
What you think?
The glare and scratch are from the plastic bag.
Thank You

Ouch! Yes, I would send it back for a replacement, as they're not supposed to have these spots. The date also shows slight Machine Doubling.

It's a gift, so you may not get a replacement, or one that may be even worse since they have quality control issues with this series.

Why does it look so scratched? Are these on the cover? Looks like the plating failed and the zinc is showing. The clock is counting down on this coin. Send it back. Poor quality.

You will have to send the set and the penny back as one I thinkfor a refund and reorder. They won't allow you to return the free gift by itself that I am aware of or just send you a new one.

Yes, I believe that only the entire set is returnable, not just the W cent.

After multiple calls I may receive the original penny back. They try to deliver back to me once but guess what? They forgot to write the apt number so ups send it back to sender 3 days before I received a postcard from them say something was wrong on the address. The address it' been the same.i spoked again with an agent stating they received the returned item but I need to wait about 5 more business day to have processed. Finger cross.

Whet do they mean no way to get it back. They confirmed you sent it to them, and it was returned to them. Just tell them to replace it. They lost it not you. You even have proof it was their fault it didn't get delivered. I would copy all the documentation and send it to the main office.
If you had sent the entire set back, would they have told you the same thing ?
I sure hope not.
Your package is somewhere in their possession, and system, they admit that. So either find it, or send another one, SIMPLE.
