Been trying to snag this note for sometime, and finally bid high enough to get one; and just a couple weeks before the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Certainly the biggest event in my lifetime! I was able to watch the "First Step" from a very small black and white screen in the barracks of Ft Sam Houston, Texas. If the USA had spent as much time and money, as we did for the challenge JFK made in 1961,who knows where we would be today.   |

The Apollo 11 Anniversary set came today. The serial number is ordinary. The centering is extra ordinary.  The packaging is typical BEP. I'm glad I only ordered one. |

Checked the mail just now but still no Apollo $50. Monday it is, I guess.

What a nice event to mark the 50TH Anniversary of the APOLLO 11 Moon Landing. Yesterday, I received a large envelope from the Dept of the U S Treasury with my 50TH Anniversary Currency Sets.!!  |
