Very nice example that deserves a holder!

For those interested, another coin that has lathe lines is the popular 1964 Accent Hair Kennedy proof half dollar. Not visible on all dies, but a definite keeper if you find one!

Look for the lines faintly visible on the reverse--but in the eagle's feathers, not the field. Were these lathe lines in the HUB, rather than the DIE for the half dollar shown below?

Looking at the examples on PCGS, all the accented hair examples have that on the feathers. But I wonder if this is not a die issue, but a working hub issue. Because there are different doubled dies for the same reverse that have the same lines on all of them? Just checked John Wexler's site and he mentioned some of the reverses had an issue with Doubled Working hub issues and doubled master die issues. So now I've got to look at the regular examples also.

So far only on the accented hair coins, the lathe lines appear. Another marker?
