Hello.
I have a doubt with this 1968 Dollar Half Dollar coin from Kennedy. It is normal to weigh 4.g less.

Still consider normal by the mint. Weight can vary a bit.

.4 g would be within my expected Weight Tolerance. The main reason it is best to buy silver coins by weight it because they do wear and weigh less. One stat I read said 3% of the gross weight can be lost, which for a clad coin, is around 5-7% silver loss. As I understand it they can also very slightly straight from the mint.
