I went to the RCNA convention and had a great time. It was a lot of fun to meet some folks that I only knew through here and other forums. This is probably my favorite pick up from the convention. 5 cent struck on a 2.3 gram split planchet, 100% indent reverse, PCGS MS 63.

Quote: Very nice nickel! It is not a nickel any more, it is a 2 1/2 cent piece.

Split or thin planchet struck with another planchet on top of it. Uniface, full collar - the image you see on the reverse is a ghosting effect. Somewhere out there should a full weight, uniface coin struck only by the hammer (reverse) die. I sold a few of these at Nuphilex a few years ago.
Did Zonad sell you this one?
Nice coin, thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone! I don't know if Zonad sold it to me as I don't know his real name. There were 2 at the show. One at Timeless Treasures and the one I bough was from a local Calgary dealer names Israel.
