Big-Kingdom yes, the Canadian coins sure are giving the wheaties a run for their money!! I spend the summers on the east coast but live in California, so I'm guessing that, once the summer ends, I will not find as many Canadian cents in California. Thanks for all the support!

Well, I searched through $33 in pennies today (weird number, I know, but thats all the bank had) and added them to the finds. I have found so many Canadian cents that I've decided to break down everything pre-1965 that is Canadian that I've found.

I don't know what methodology you employed. but your initial prediction as to how many wheaties you expected to find seems pretty much on target. For all decades, you estimated 6,000. If your current rate holds up, you should end up with 7,200.

On the other hand, my thought that you might find some Panamanian coinage would appear to be totally off-base.

Colligo ergo sum

Given the use of Ryedale sorters to rake copper Memorial cents out of circulation, I would have guessed that you would find 850,000+ Zincolns.

T-Bop, what I did was estimate that I would find between 15 and 18 wheat pennies every box. I decided to guess on the lower side so that I didn't get my hopes up.

Well, Another $50 in pennies down and another 5000 pennies closer to my goal! A little disappointed with the turnout, but I've got another $50 sitting next to me, and I'm hoping to have better luck with these. I should be posting the results later tonight! Thanks for everyone's support!

Well, I can't say that I am happy with these results in the least. 15 wheat pennies over two boxes has to be an all-time low for me. In one of the boxes, I found 110 canadian cents but only 2 wheat cents. To be fair, I am currently 5 miles south of the Canadian border and these were customer wrapped rolls, so it is expected. Anyway, I'm going to try a different bank tommorow and see if I can do any better. I'm hoping to do another two rounds of $50 tommorow, so a total of $100.
