to the CCF! It looks as if you have nothing more than a very well circulated cent.

@av69, first welcome to CCF. Second, at first glance, I'm only seeing circulation wear, with perhaps some peeling of the copper plating near the shield on the reverse. Is there something specific that you are seeing with the coin in hand that maybe isn't coming through in your pics? (Which by the way are very good for your first post.)

as they say PMD, post mint damage. There is a very slight possibility on the reverse that there is a die crack at the bottom of the T, but the photo isn't clear enough. welcome and keep searching!

The surfaces look a bit grainy, which I'd posit was due to some sort of environmental exposure. I don't see anything that ought to command a price premium for this coin, it remains a spender. But keep looking, finding a true error coin is always a "wow" moment.

To CCF! Just a damaged coin. Post Strike Damage ( PSD), not an error coin. Value is one cent.

Looks like on your coin, they were trying to make Abe in a dentist's chair. LOL
