MD or DDO? Not best condition (G?), but fairly clear on error(s). Pictures marginal. But should be enough to say either way. LIBERTY and Date makes me think DDO (thickening of letters/numbers?). Overall, MD. But I've been wrong more than right on this subject. Thx

This coin has circulated to the point that all design elements begin to look bigger as they meet the edges and the fields.

Got it moxking. So I assume MD across board and thickening as you stated. Roger that. Thanks for your input, and input on my Buffalo nickels as well, on the toning question. Take care.

@BG, just a random note that this coin seems to have been heavily polished. That's fine, but I'm hoping that it isn't your handiwork as it removes much of the numismatic value. With the condition of this coin it doesn't matter but on others it might.

Greetings Spence. Nope. Not my doing. I never touch coins to mod or God forbid clean in any way. Thx for the note.

Heavy Die Deterioration issue (Late Die State coin. Die was starting to wear out.), and heavy circulation wear and tear. Still a nice coin and a keeper!

Greetings Fuzzy, and apologies for the posting error. I think I put it in Colonial and Error coins, as it has the MD issues? So you moved it to Modern variety and error coins I take it? In any event, I will be more discriminating in where it goes on next posting. Read it more thoroughly. If all I just said is wrong to, feel free to straighten me out again :-) Thanks.

It is not a problem. Try to place them in the correct section, but threads are moved all the time.
