Not in my future, more than I would care to spend. I'll look at your set when you build it. I'll keep my inexpensive set :)

Lol, the price of one MS-67 or 68 Mercury dime makes my hair turn gray. My goal eventually is to have at least one MS-68 morgan, but the cheapest on ebay is around $3500.

The LCS has an MS 66 MHD, it was priced at $300, I said I'll pass :) the 16-D I' m holding is $350. Even that is more than I want to spend :)

Thanks all, it's been a fun set to get. This time instead of buying the best coin, I picked the price and selected coins based on that price. It worked well, even the semi keys (21P and D) I picked up at a great price.

To me its also about finishing a set. I don't care if they are MS or not. in fact I hate the idea of putting MS pieces in albums b/c they will deteriorate (oops...tone) over time. I also just like the looks of coins in albums instead of 2X2s (though I have many of those also). I would like to see someone make an all plastic album designed like Whitman/Dansco, etc. The Encap albums seem to be great, but then there is the need to buy all of the capsules. I keep telling myself I am going to make (for the enjoyment of it) a plastic album someday for my Kennedy halves, but life keeps getting in the way.

I love the way Silver coins look in a Whitman Album. If you wanted to you could actually add more pages in that Album and make it a two Album set. I've picked all my Mercury dimes at coin shows. Yours is a great looking set so far.

Carl,

I got the Whitman album because of you

And I agree I like silver coins on the blue background also.
