for me grading through toning like this is tough as you really cant see the high points on a coin well enough to determine any wear.

A little flat on the reverse. the stars are bold and struck up well with no indication of circulation. some flatness on the hair below LIBERTY. I don't see any wear on the rims. I think its MS and technically could go as high as MS64 but I put the eye appeal on the lower end so maybe MS63

Tough to grade for sure. I'll go along with 63. Very attractive in any event!

AU58

Light flatness on the reverse of the eagles brow, leading edges of wings, and claws.

Slight flatness on the high spots of the hair curls in several spots.

Is this coin slabbed?

Nice coin and toning.
Either AU58 or a softly struck MS62.

It is a JR-5 variety. R-1, one of the commonest of the 9 die pairings known for this year.

2.5hrs left. I will say that I'm happy to call this my own. I've been needing to upgrade my capped bust dime, which was a VG-10 (Details). I currently am in the possession of a VF-30, but that's on commission for a friend. So I'm happy to have had the opportunity to upgrade to this example. This will fit my type set wonderfully.

Undergraded IMO. Great price to at a mere $425. I love this. Great UNC coin and amazing eye appeal for the price of an AU-50
