Was out to lunch and received this 1880 Indian head in change. I think its one of the oldest given to me in change or even in CRH. Sure shows its age.

Probably a cull coin from a collector, put back into circulation.
I often do this with unwanted coins myself.
In this case in such poor condition, that it is best put back into circulation.
That is, unless you wish to keep it.

I would rescue that even if it isn't worth much. Cool to point to as your oldest circulation find.

Once I put all the duplicate and low grade wheats into 2 rolls and put them back into circulation. I hope a collector got that roll :)

Still getting an 1880 IHC in the wild is pretty cool
