This is my first post about coins, I'm not sure if this is where I'm suppose to post this.

But I actually have a lot of random coins I want to post on this forum in hopes that someone can tell me if they are rare or worth anything.

Heres a 1921 usa dollar coin I have.

i would like to clean them and take good detailed pictures of the ones that look like they might be rare or special and post them on this thread if thats okay.

p.s. could someone let me know if I'm posting the pictures right? lol. I did read the rules and followed them correct I think.

We would love to see pics of your coins and comment on them. Please just start a new thread for each new coin and do not under any circumstances clean any coin whatsoever. Please.

Looking at you have, here are my thoughts.
1) Don't clean anything
2) vast majority of your coins are circulated and are either worth face or melt.
3) anything newer than 1964 is probably just worth face based on the condition.
4) dimes, quarters, half's and dollars before 1964 are 90% silver and worth melt (value of silver)
5) only 1942-1945 nickels have silver at 35%

Keep the Buffalo nickels if you have a key date (doubtful) it' could be worth up to $100

The 1921 Morgan dollar is very common and in the condition like yours worth $11-$13 depending on what the LCS will give. What grape collects stated was the value that you can get if you sell it yourself on ebay. A local
Coin shop won't give you $22. And remember ebay has fees, shipping etc, you'll probably get $15 after everything is paid.

You haven't won the coin lottery but you might have over $100 in value.

Great pictures! Of course as they have already said, don't clean coins.

Learn how to properly handle coins. It's a good habit.
Don't touch the flat surfaces, handle them by the edge. Don't shake the box or bags and envelopes they are in.
Although many may be common, sometimes a more valuable one or two could be loose in the mix.
New scratches, dings and fingerprints will reduce the value. Cleaned coins can't be uncleaned.
Once they become a pickle, they can't be a cucumber again.
