Weird Y On My Kennedy Half Dollar

Yes those pics are better thanks! It looks like damage that has moved some of the metal in the Y around enough that it is now an odd shape (not a mint error).

Thanks everyone. It doesn't really look like it was damaged after the fact, and the second T in "TRUST" is flat and fat. So I thought it probably pressed against something in process. But I am not knowledgeable about these errors vs after damage....so I greatly appreciate the nice people on this forum who are willing to educate me. Very kind.

I'm zero for two on my error coin hopes. LOL. I have an Eisenhower dollar where there is a faint shadow (for lack of knowing what to call it) repeat of at least one of the date numbers. I'll spend some time deciding whether or not I should bother with it. I've had these coins around for years. They aren't going anywhere.

This started because I have a huge jar of pennies and hearing reports of other people's finds, I started look and weighing. So far its a bust. I have some grease mark (I think it is) pennies...and I had one completely missing an "o." I set it aside but forgot. Accidentally spent it. LOL. Oh well.
