@TS, you want to keep this in a 2x2 in order to prevent that hinged flake of metal from breaking off from the rest of the coin. It is likey worth a premium either way, but better to keep all of the layers attached.

 this is a Lamination error, mostly Retained Laminations. I found this on Error-Ref dealing with the lamination/delamination terminology. Quote:The term "lamination error" is grammatically incorrect as the metal is actually delaminating. It is now a floppy lamination peel, kind of a comb over onto the bust. In BU it would have a lot more value. But still a keeper.
