The weight is probably within tolerance, and can you post an closeup image of those areas you are talking about.
And please preview your post/pictures to be sure the images are rotated correctly.

to CCF. The pink look usually means a harsh cleaning and the silver look around the edge means the copper plating has worn off. Weight Tolerance is +/- .10 grams.

Or was dipped into an acidic drink, it can turn pink. Just a spender. (Pink color on a cent is always assumed as an altered coin) No honest collector would give it the time of day on any year cent.
