Pretty sure this dime is Struck Through Grease, but wanted to check in with the experts. I am new to the hobby(lifestyle) and the learning curve is steep.

The die was probably polished and the devices were reduced in size. (Possibly some Feeder Finger Damage and the die was tried to be rescued

Is this a relatively common error that occurs as dies deteriorate, or is it particular to this year?

Is there any market value for DDD coins such as this, or am I yet again the proud possessor of another 10 cent dime?

Regardless, I am keeping this coin because I find it interesting.

Yes--a good decision as this coin is a very nice example.

Indeed. I'm grateful for everyone's replies and patience with a neophyte.
