I'm at EF-45. Old cleaning wouldn't surprise me.

VF35+++ or EF40 I'm concerned a bit by the flattened spot on the rim, not a rim ding I hope (obverse @ 11:30).

They'd prob nail it for cleaning and scratches. Had a similar seated half with identical scratches above the eagle and they bodybagged it scratches.

Nice coin though. Id grade it XF40 if not details

I'm at XF-40 and quite possibly an old cleaning. Very tough coin in any grade.&

some weakness in strike on both sides. the dress, shield and boulder high points are sharp and well defined. technically I would put in the AU50 bucket but the overall eye appeal for me drops it a notch to XF45 and possibly cleaned and retoned
