KauaiHawaiiGuy Pillar of the Community United States 612 Posts	Posted 03/26/2020 2:20 pm This one is interesting because I can't figure out what happened. If you look down to the bottom of the obverse you'll see that it looks like a reverse shadow at the date and going up the sides of the stars, but it's not a shadow, it's on the coin and it's in reverse of what a shadow should be anyway. Maybe it was laying in the desert around some nuclear blast and the radiation got it. I really don't understand. So anyway, what do you think? Report this Post to the Staff

Not uncommon at all and can help prove original coloring/toning.
