Photos are rough. Not seeing a DDR. Check the three reference sites and let us know what you find.

The doubling I see is flat and shelf-like: Machine Doubling - die is slightly loose when it hits the coin planchet and bounces - no premium as its not a rare thing to find and its machine made instead of actually being a doubled image engraved into the die that hits the coin

The devices are reduced smaller than normal. (your looking at the edge of the normal devices that are reduced. The difference?

Note the reduction of the devices?
Compare with the DDR's that year:

The differences:

Note the Machine Doubling reduces the normal device leaving a flat, shelf like look to the device on the image on the left. The image on the right is a doubled die. Note the doubling of the devices. The difference? On a doubled die the doubling is on the die, thus the term 'Doubled Die'. On Machine Doubling the devices on the die is altered by the machine. So if the die is normal, it reduces the devices to an even smaller device. But this MD can also happen on doubled dies as well as the machine causes the damage to the devices. Note on the 1969-S DDO-001 (Yes the big one)

Note all the devices are doubled dies. But note the yellow areas. Those areas were affected by the machine damaging them right after the strike. In fact a large percentage of the DDO-001 were affected with Machine Doubling. The 1968-1972 cents had the most machine doubled cents during those years. This changed in 1973 when the stronger strike on cents happened that year.
