Not sure what kind if errror this is but wondering if %it would have any value and if so what is it that makes it valuable? Thanks for any insight.

Appears to be damage inflicted with a blunt object. Reverse photo(s) will surely help.

I don't think this is just damage the there are no tool marks and Lincolns face isn't distorded at all like it would be and the displacement of metal is too clean to have happened post mint

Although I cant help but to think about that beetlejuice mouth face thing everytime I look at it. Anyone else seein that?

Sorry, doesthiscount, the reverse pretty much settles it as damage. If the reverse were completely clean, and only the front showed any indentation, it could be a strike-through error, but this is clearly just damage.

Yep, just damage. PSD. Nothing in the minting process could have done this. It's impossible.
