A Tale Of Six 1878 8 Tail Feather Morgan Dollars Sold At Ebay 2 Weeks Ago.

I was the only bidder and won the auction with the opening bid of $100. In the original sellers photos, the scratches I saw on her cheek appeared to me to be on the plastic case and not the coin, and I was correct. Did that stop others from bidding? I don't think so. I believe it was the opening bid of $100 that stopped others from bidding. People love to win auctions, and bidding and winning an auction is more important than the final price. That's what this post is about. Over the next week I followed other 1878 8TF Morgans to see what the final winning bids were and it was an eye opener to me, how people love to bid and win at all costs.
