Alright so now that most people have a few in there note collections and are happy with the designs. what is everyone opinion on them ? I'm of the opinion that they will be very hard to counterfeit not saying that I would go out of my way to test this , and they do look amazing when crisp and new, however they deteriorate super fast and I mean fast it hasn't even be half a decade and the 5 dollars note that are new are dying see many torn, ripped up edges missing, colouration is fine and the holograms still hold up but I wonder what printing cost are like. If you want miniature versions of the new co polymer banknotes, you just have to iron the genuine ones ! The green $100 Note is the last denomination of the 'New Generation' series, and it is anticipated that it will be released into circulation in the second half of 2020. Has a few more security features that the old green co polymer $100 Note doesn't have. Search:- Google Images: ' new $100 note' to see what it is going to look like.

The higher printing cost will help to offset potential counterfeiters to make one. It is well known that $50 notes are the most prone.
That said, the notes seem to be thinner and maybe less durable. I find it pretty intriguing that the notes only have one set of serial number which means that there will be no case of wrong serial numbers. That said, imagine you have torn banknotes or have the serial number missing. With the older ones, you would have some chance if one set is still available but with the current banknotes, it can be very different.

True, however be careful there are some very top notch old fifties fakes/counterfeit and not the low grade fakes (enough to fool without close inspection).
The new notes will not last more than a decade in circulation, unless they happen to be stored for period of time.

Too simplistic. The older notes had more character. Our New Zealand notes are much better

And the joke is lost on me, our superior notes are printed in .......... Drumroll AUSTRALIA! But I feel you guys should have saved the best for yourself, by saying they were simplistic was criticising the design, not the features that do make them first rate and practically impossible for counterfeiting. Australians should be rightfully credited for the Polymer banknote which has revolutionised banknotes around the world. Polymer is better quality, more durable and much brighter than paper, along with being harder to fake.
