Does anyone know of any varieties or errors on the 2019 d river of no return quarters? The bank isn't allowing very many rolls right now, and often times when I ask for the couple of rolls that I'm allowed, I found out after I've opened the roll that they gave me a roll of uncirculated 2019 d r. O. N. R. I haven't been able to find info on any true known varieties, but maybe I haven't looked in the right areas. At this point I have at least 4 rolls of them, probably 5. And I'm just not sure I see much of a reason to keep more than maybe 2 to have on hand a year or two down the road.

Thank you!

I haven't heard of or seen any yet. Do you think you have one?

No. I wish! :-) I thoroughly inspected (as best as a complete newbie can) the first probably 3 rolls worth that I received, and promptly returned them. And darned if they don't about cause a person to lose their eyesight trying to inspect. Lol! as the bank has occasionally continued to unknowingly dole them out, ive been setting them aside without taking the time to check them, waiting for news of an error or variety.
But I could be waiting a loooooong time. Especially with the Denver mint being our nearest supplier. Lol.

Thank you admin for editing the title! I appreciate it.

Well I haven't heard of anything odd coming up out of them yet so maybe nothing to really use the electron microscope on, but there is a chance of getting a RONR with a W mint mark instead of a P or A D mint mark in rolls from banks.

I guess that would be a "variety" but I'm no professional.

Only reason I brought it up is you didn't mention the W quarters and the possibility exists you don't know about them.

You can always look on ebay or online for possible errors in any year or design and if anything has been found its usually listed somewhere online, even if it's minor or its not an error or variety at all and like a Die Deterioration instead.

Anyways always check those mint marks on 2019 and 2020 quarters for the W.

I was thinking the same thing about the W's.

OP needs to be careful about errors on ebay. He better know what he's looking at. Many listed as errors, are not.

Thank you both. I appreciate any and all input! I will continue to keep an eye out for the w's. I havent found any so far. But it it's always worth checking... And I'm happy to know that it isn't just me not being able to find info about them.

To anyone still reading.... How many rolls would you keep around for a year or two to see if anything turns up?

I never had any intention of getting into that aspect of coin collecting, but since I continue to be handed rolls of them in UNC condition, I figure it might be worth it. It's just unfortunate it's a type of coin without any oddities. Lol

I personally don't keep any, unless a spot a true anomaly or something in question. It wouldn't hurt if you did. You never know what might pop up in the future.

If there were hub doubling, it would be on the central devices areas on either side. Ear lobes, motto distortion or doubling of reverse devices. That would be the areas to consider. The rest of the coin would probably be machine doubled. Save your eyes. Look in these areas. The affected areas will be raised, not incuse or pushed.
